Heart Month
Get in touch with the Heart and Stroke Foundation in your area to find speakers and resources to run your own Heart Month campaign. They also provide many resources about living a healthier lifestyle. Consider asking employees to share their own personal stories of maintaining heart health or recovery from heart-related illness.
World Cancer Day

Download a free World Cancer Day toolkit and other materials for ideas related to social media, fundraising and building awareness.
International Epilepsy Day
February 10
On the second Monday of February, people join together in more than 120 countries to raise awareness and highlight the problems faced by people with epilepsy, their families and carers. Encourage staff to learn about International Epilepsy Day. This International Epilepsy Day resource kit will also give you ideas for other ways to be more aware of epilepsy.
Pink Shirt Day
February 26
Workplace behaviours can be experienced as harmful by co-workers and employees, even if it’s unintentional. Encourage staff to show they are against bullying by wearing pink-shirts on this day. The Pink Shirt Day website has free content you can use to become more aware of bullying and its impact on psychological health.
Rare disease day
February 28
Rare Disease Day is the globally coordinated movement on rare diseases, working towards equity in social opportunity, healthcare, and access to diagnosis and therapies for people living with a rare disease. Use these Rare disease day resources to get involved.
